LABELS AND TECHNICAL FILMS

Thanks to their high transparency and brilliant surfaces, BOPS films in thicknesses less than 100 µm are ideal print substrates for all established printing processes. The intrinsic rigidity of the material makes BOPS film perfect for labels. Both for conventional labels and for in-mould applications BOPS replaces the paper labels commonly in use up to now.

The use of BOPS labels on PS containers (such as bottles and tubs or cups) enables "one-material packaging" for trouble-free recycling of used packaging. With a specific density of ~1.05, the amount of material used is kept to a minimum. The other advantages of the material, such as its scratch-proof surface and nearly-zero water absorption, make it particularly well suited for labels in the food industry.
