Labels and technical film

Thanks to its high transparency and brilliant surfaces, BOPS film in thicknesses below 100 µm is an ideal print substrate for all common printing processes. The intrinsic rigidity of the material makes BOPS film the perfect substance for labels – BOPS replaces the paper labels commonly used in the past for both conventional labels and especially in-mould applications.

The use of BOPS labels on PS containers (bottles and cups etc.) enables "one-material packaging", which makes it easy to recycle the packaging at a later date. With a specific density of ~1.05, the amount of material used is kept to a minimum. The other advantages of the material – its scratch-proof surface and almost total impermeability – make it particularly suited for labels in the food industry.
